As an early believer in the online sales model, Betsy McGinn pioneered and developed a thriving eCommerce business for Seventh Generation, a natural home care, baby care and personal care products company. Over a period of eight years, she led eCommerce strategy in sales, marketing and product development with a cross-functional team to succeed with Amazon, Quidsi and a variety of eCommerce partners.
With over 15 years of experience in conventional and natural grocery channels, Betsy develops strategy that balances the best interests of all market channels in order to manage conflict and maximize success with all retail partners. As part of the pioneering teams for Tazo Tea, Terra Chips, Garden of Eatin’ and Seventh Generation, she has broad experience in both the United States and Canada.
Betsy is the author of “eCommerce…The New Frontier” in Bob Burke’s Natural Products Field Manual. She is a regular speaker at workshops and a leader of Omni-Channel forums with Kantar Retail Group.
Betsy holds a B.A. in journalism from Duquesne University and an M.B.A in marketing from Temple University.
